چکیده
This paper aims to bring out the significant contribution of the Professor Lotfi A. Zadeh,"the father of Fuzzy Logic" in the field of Soft Computing. The computational Theory of Perceptions (CTP) deals with the automated processing of human knowledge expressed in Natural language. The development of computational system based on the Computational Theory of Perceptions is a challenging task that requires taking into account knowledge extended to several scientific disciplines such as Fuzzy Logic, Linguistics and Software Engineering. The Computational Theory of Perceptions is based on the methodology of computing with words. In CTP words play the role of labels of perceptions and more generally, perceptions are expressed as propositions in a natural language. Computing with

Human Perceptions versus Computational Perceptions in Computational Theory of Perceptions
The development of a computational system based on the Computational Theory of Perceptions is a challenging task that requires taking into account knowledge extended to several scientific disciplines such as Fuzzy Logic, Linguistics and Software Engineering among others. In this paper we contribute to the Computational Theory of Perceptions by providing a set of ideas and definitions which coul...
متن کاملDo we self-regulate actions or perceptions? A test of two computational models
Self-regulation theories in applied psychology disagree about whether action or perceptions are the focus of regulation. Computational models based on the two conceptualizations were constructed and simulated. In one scenario, they performed identically and in conjunction with participants in a study of the goal-level effect (Vancouver et al., Organ Res Methods 8:100–127, 2005). In another scen...
متن کاملEnumeration of Conformers of Octahedral [M(ABC)_{6}] Complex on the Basis of Computational Group Theory
Conformers of [M(ABC)6] complex have been enumerated on the basis of computational group theory, where M is the central metal, and ABC is the ligand, bound to M through A. Based on the 16 conformers of the M(AB)6 core unit, 7173 conformers have been found for the [M(ABC)6] complex, which are assigned to nine point groups, 1 D3d, 4 D3, 4 S6, 5 C2h, 7 C3, 182 C2, 15 Cs, 23 Ci, and 6932 C1.
متن کاملAn analytical on the gap between theory and action in Allamah Tabatabaei
The gap between theory and ethical action is known an important problem in ethics and education. Analyzing the relationship between theory and ethical action and deciding the elements having to do with optional actions of human and their interaction, one may perceive the reasons and roots of the gap and, on this basis, improve educational theories to attain the harmony between theory and action...
متن کاملA New Direction in AI: Towards a Computational Theory of Perceptions
wide variety of physical and mental tasks without any measurements and any computations. Familiar examples are parking a car, driving in city traffic, playing golf, cooking a meal, and summarizing a story. In performing such tasks, humans use perceptions of time, direction, speed, shape, possibility, likelihood, truth, and other attributes of physical and mental objects. Reflecting the bounded ...
